HOW TO ENTER THE COMPETITION

Our founder, Paul W. Klipsch, prided himself on always innovating to create an incredible listening experience using beautiful products. This first edition, for those under the age of 30, has the theme "HERITAGE." Young talents will have to tap into the brand's roots to imagine the products of tomorrow (the look of the products, not the technology inside).

THE CATEGORIES

Projects must belong to one of the below categories:

ACTIVE SPEAKERS (wireless): create tomorrow’s speaker in the vein of The One and The Three

HEADPHONES: Imagine the new Heritage Inspired headphones (on or over-the-ear) in your own voice

THE PRIZES

During the plenary meeting, a jury of professionals will designate TWO winners in each category.

1ST PRIZE : 5 000€

2ND PRIZE : 2 000€


HOW TO SUBMIT A PROJECT?

The Klipsch Awards are open to:

Students in Engineering

Students in Product Design

Students in Industrial Design

Young talents under 30 years old who graduated from one of the above fields

PARTICIPATING REGIONS

Participants must have undertaken their studies and lived in one of the following countries:

France, the United Kingdom, Spain and Italy

KEY DATES

April 15th, 2019: Call for projects

June 15th, 2019: Final date to submit applications.

End of June 2019 : Two winners per category will be selected by the jury. Winners will be notified by the beginning of July 2019.


WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

To enter, you'll first need to register and upload proof that you're a student or a graduate under 30 years old in one of the qualifying subjects. All applications must be submitted by June 15, 2019, 11:59PM. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Each applicant can propose a project in each category.

Once registered, you'll need to complete our online form. We'd like to see:

A note to describe the project (name, dimensions, materials…)

Sketches and renderings (3 minimum in .PNG, .JPG or.JPEG)

3D – .STEP format

All submissions must be done in English.
